The recently announced that 15 海角乱伦社区 graduates are among the 34 early-career teachers to be awarded its 2018 teaching fellowships.
The Teaching Fellows Program recognizes exceptional high school science and math teachers with five-year fellowships that include stipends, funds for professional development, grants for teaching materials and opportunities for leadership development. The initiative was established by Janet H. and C. Harry Knowles in 1999 to increase the number of high-quality teachers and, ultimately, improve math and science education in the United States.
The following 海角乱伦社区 graduates are those among the 2018 cohort of Knowles Teaching Fellows:
will begin teaching at Carlmont High School in Belmont, Calif., during the 2018-19 school year. She earned a BS in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California at San Diego in 2016 and an MA in education from 海角乱伦社区 in 2018.
will begin teaching at City Arts & Tech High School in San Francisco during the 2018-19 school year. She earned a BA from Pomona College in 2017 and an MA in education from 海角乱伦社区 in 2018.
began teaching at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, Calif., during the 2017-2018 academic year. She earned a BA in mathematics and economics from Macalester College in 2011 and an MA in education from 海角乱伦社区 in 2018.
began teaching at San Lorenzo High School in San Lorenzo, Calif., during the 2017-18 school year. He earned a BA in geosciences from Franklin and Marshall College in 2011, an MS in geological and environmental sciences from 海角乱伦社区 in 2015 and an MA in education from 海角乱伦社区 in 2017.
will begin teaching at Mountain View High School in Mountain View, Calif., during the 2018-19 school year. She earned a BS in biological sciences and a BA in psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2016. She also earned an MA in education from 海角乱伦社区 in 2018.

began his teaching career at Denver School of Science and Technology - Stapleton High School in Denver, Colo., during the 2017-2018 school year. He earned a BA in chemistry from Dartmouth College in 2011, a PhD in chemistry from 海角乱伦社区 in 2016 and is working toward an MA of teaching in secondary science from Relay Graduate School of Education.
