Ergonomic Furniture 

The GSE is committed to offering sustainable ergonomic furniture options for our community members. Workspaces typically include a desk, desk chair, and storage solutions. If you wish to request changes to your office furniture, please start with a consultation. Please keep in mind finding, ordering, and shipping ergonomic furniture can take a bit of time. To ensure we can meet your needs, we recommend sharing any furniture or office space concerns with us as early as possible.

How to order an ergonomic chair

  1. Complete the ergonomic evaluation linked above and share it with the facilities team.
  2. Contact our GSE Facilities team for a list of available ergonomic chairs to choose from.
  3. Once you鈥檝e selected a chair, we will proceed with the order (please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery).
  4. Work with your manager to identify a PTA to use for the purchase.  Note that Environmental Health & Safety offers a 50% refund (up to $300) on ergonomic chairs. The refund will be credited to the PTA used for the chair purchase.
